“About Time” is OUT!!!

Our brand new, first album “About Time” is OUT NOW! It’s available on all your usual streaming platforms, can be downloaded via iTunes and you can get your physical copies from our website!

This album has been a very long time coming and is something we’re extremely proud of. Although it’s only taken 3 months from the first recording session to it being released today, it’s been the best part of 20-odd-years in the making. In that time we’ve recorded, scrapped it, recorded more, scrapped it again and repeated this process countless times over the last two decades; for lots of different reasons, so this one means a lot to us!

As it’s our first we wanted to make sure it’s got something for everyone, and a whole variety of the styles we play live – Doowop, Rhythm & Blues, Jump Jive, a Rockabilly Classic or two and even a couple of self-penned tracks.

We hope you enjoy it, as much as we did making it. After all, it was About Time….

New album incoming…

We’re over the moon to announce that we will shortly be heading into a recording studio, to record our BRAND NEW album. It will mark the culmination of what will be, by this point, a long number of years of effort. The original plan was to record this very album in 2019! The studio time was booked and utilised with a load of good material making the cut. We mixed, then re-recorded some alterations, then a new song or two (with an originally recorded one or two making way), then added a few new elements, then re-booked studio time; it was a case of wanting things too perfect, then by the time we got the tracks to where we wanted, a new idea popped up so we would go back a few steps and continue again from there, but eventually we thought we had it!

AND THEN…. the whole world came to an immediate stop! For 2 and a bit years our whole world was put on hold. We couldn’t play, we couldn’t tour and we couldn’t do anything that related remotely to our job. This, in turn, led to our motivation and happiness with the album waining and ultimately resulted in us deciding to shelve the recordings.

So…. After a few years of recording, mixing, changing our mind, altering things, a global pandemic, deciding to completely scrap everything, we’re NOW HERE! In the next week, we’ll be heading into a studio to record a completely new album. We’ll be recording “the way it should be”, all live, with only the master take of the vocals being added singularly (for better quality). The album will include a number of songs that we love playing live, a few favourites that we don’t usually play live and a couple of brand new, self-penned tracks; something for everyone.

We’ll keep you updated on how it all goes…..

HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL of our Friends and Fans, across the world!! We hope you had a WONDERFUL end to the year, with your closest family and friends!

2023 was a BRILLIANT Year for us, despite the Music/ Events Industry, both in the UK and Europe, still struggling Post-Covid. We were lucky enough to perform all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, at a whole variety of different events – Cruises, Arena Tours, Festivals, Weddings, Funerals, Private Parties, Motor Racing, Gigs and everything in between, which we are all HUGELY Grateful for!

2024 is already promising to be as good as the last, with loads of different shows booked in, with PLENTY MORE to come!

We’re currently in the process of creating a Brand New WEBSITE, which will be more user-friendly than the previous iteration and are DELIGHTED to ANNOUNCE that NEXT WEEK, we will be heading into the Studio to RECORD a BRAND NEW ALBUM!! Due to be released Late-Spring time 2024, which will replace our previously planned release, which we’ve decided to scrap after a Covid-hit recording and mixing phase and a change of plan; so there’s PLENTY to keep us busy!!

WHAT A TOUR!!

The Great Firebirds Night/ Die Grosse Firebirds Nacht Tour was UNBELIEVABLE! We had such a FANTASTIC time with our German Friends “The Firebirds“, Carsten “Hepcat” Fritzsche and the whole team behind the scenes! An absolutely INCREDIBLE run of shows!

Massive thanks to the wonderful venues, cities and the thousands of wonderful fans, new and old, who came out to see us all, WE LOVED IT! Hopefully it won’t be too long before we share the stage together again! THANK YOU and see you all soon!
